**CHOWOL — Beyond Makgeolli** CHOWOL is an independent urban brewery located in Seoul, South Korea. We craft a new style of makgeolli using only Korean rice, traditional nuruk, and water, without any artificial additives. Through slow, low-temperature fermentation, we explore the diverse flavors and possibilities of Korea's traditional rice wine. Our philosophy is simple: **to create makgeolli that can be enjoyed on its own.**
